JASON R. ANDERSON

“THE WAY TO GET STARTED IS TO QUIT TALKING AND BEGIN DOING.”

~ WALT DISNEY

Hello, I’m Jason, born in 1982, and the youngest of 10 children. I started working when I was 13 years old and at the age of 17 (in 2000), I made the decision to join the Air Force. I anticipated a lifetime military career, but 5 months after I landed at RAF Mildenhall (United Kingdom) for my first duty station, the planes hit the twin towers on 9/11. This forever changed the course of my life.

While I was in the military, I had my first run with entrepreneurship and started a business installing car stereos on base. In 2005, I received an honorable discharge and moved to Dallas where I met my beautiful wife, Claire. She calls me a cool nerd… Maybe that’s because I consider myself one of the oldest millennial’s. We like to travel, drink wine, and spend time together doing the unexpected. After moving to LA and Miami (actually West Palm Beach) but Miami sounds cooler. We recently moved back to Dallas on Valentines day 2020.

We sold our house in Florida fully furnished, and started over back here with our two pups, CJ & Coco, the legacy of our son, Preston Carter Anderson (Born Sleeping on April 9th, 2019) and with my wife 7 months pregnant. On May 6th, 2020 we were blessed with our rainbow baby “Ella Grace Anderson”.

“I’M NOT SUPERSTITIOUS, BUT I AM A LITTLE STITIOUS.”

~ MICHAEL SCOTT

I started in Real Estate back in 2007, a year before the crash, and by 2011 I had close to 200 agents. I made both the Forbes 30 Under 30 & Realtor 30 Under 30. I started working at United Franchise Group in 2012 and I currently lead the Venture X brand.

As a leader and lifelong learner, I love creating things more than maintaining them, and this is why my role as a consultant or franchisor fits me better than a role as a franchisee. As an ENTP, my strength is taking complex items and breaking them down to simple and easy to understand pieces. I also have a Life Path One and pay attention to my Clifton Strengths 34 profile.

I joined the Air Force in 2000, and went through basic training at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX and then technical training at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, TX. In the spring of 2001, I was stationed at RAF Mildenhall (United Kingdom) for my first duty station. In 2003 I was stationed back in the states at Dyess AFB in Abilene, Texas. In 2005 i was honorably discharged and moved to Dallas, TX. 9 years later in 2014 we moved to Los Angeles, CA, and in 2015 we moved to West Palm Beach, FL. Then as mentioned above, we came back home to Dallas, TX on Valentines day 2020.

The rest of my story is still a “Work In Progress”

“WHEN YOU GROW UP YOU TEND TO GET TOLD THAT THE WORLD IS THE WAY IT IS AND YOUR LIFE IS JUST TO LIVE YOUR LIFE INSIDE THE WORLD. TRY NOT TO BASH INTO THE WALLS TOO MUCH. TRY TO HAVE A NICE FAMILY LIFE, HAVE FUN, SAVE A LITTLE MONEY. THAT’S A VERY LIMITED LIFE. LIFE CAN BE MUCH BROADER ONCE YOU DISCOVER ONE SIMPLE FACT: EVERYTHING AROUND YOU THAT YOU CALL LIFE WAS MADE UP BY PEOPLE THAT WERE NO SMARTER THAN YOU. AND YOU CAN CHANGE IT, YOU CAN INFLUENCE IT… ONCE YOU LEARN THAT, YOU’LL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN.”
